We utilize various methods of communication: email, phone, text, Instagram, Facebook, you name it. However, if it’s something important that we might need to reference for your session, email is our preferred medium.

We absolutely provide direction wherever needed! Most of us aren’t professional models, so it’s no surprise that the vast majority of people tell me when we first meet that they’re awkward on camera or they never look good in photos. The most popular piece of feedback we’ve received over the years is that we are able to put everyone at ease and make them feel comfortable. Part of this is through our flexible, no-stress, and sometimes silly approach to direction.

Absolutely! We love traveling and shooting in new places. Every location is different and travel expenses can vary throughout the year, so contact us for more details.

This depends on the type of session booked. This could range from 3 edited photos with our Standard Session to 24 edited photos with our Full-Day Session. Additional edits and/or unwatermarked photos are available for an additional fee. Note: Wedding packages include all photos aken at the wedding.

Proof images are returned to the client within 1-3 business days from the date of the session. The proof images are unedited, watermarked, and are not allowed to be downloaded or used. Upon receipt of the images, the client will have up to 3 business days to select which images they would like to be edited.
Edited images take 7-15 business days to be returned. If the client request additional edits outside of the original package an additional 2 business days per image is reflected.

No, all photographs and footage are and shall remain the sole intellectual property of the photographer per the United States Copyright Laws. The Client hereby waives any rights to intellectual property ownership, monetization, or reproduction of the images and footage created by the Photographer, with exception of the terms of any formal written releases provided to the Client by the Photographer.
By paying the initial deposit and agreeing that this document has been read the photographer does grant the Client the right to print images for personal or family use. the photographer grants the client the right to publish the photographs on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc) and personal websites. If the client wishes to use images for commercial, multimedia advertising, sale, etc the photographer will provide the documentation and invoice for such matters. The Client may present this contract to photo printing companies if they request authorization from the Photographer.

We understand that unfortunate things happen and for this reason, we have a plan in place to protect both the photographer and the client. If you are unable to make your photo session, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours of advance notice and your deposit will be credited to a future session. In the event that a 24-hour notice is not provided, all deposits will act as a cancellation fee.

If the session needs to be rescheduled for any reason a $50 rescheduling fee will be added to your open invoice. All we ask for in return is at least 24 hours’ notice; otherwise, your session will be canceled and all deposits will act as a cancellation fee.

Do cows moo? As photographers of nearly 10 years, we’ve shot in more than our share of bad weather. Our equipment is weather sealed and we are happy to help you figure out the additional challenges of unexpected weather on the day of your session. We’re game if you are!

While we’ve shot in our fair share of bad weather, we, along with most, prefer dry/sunny climates. For this reason, we’re always willing to reschedule sessions due to unideal weather. Obviously, this isn’t an option with wedding days but we will help you develop a game plan to make the most of your rainy wedding day should it happen. We’ll figure it out!

Given that we can’t predict the future (or at least most of us can’t), it is most important to have a plan in place if the unexpected does happen. So to cover for this we have a broad network of photographers we know personally who we would feel comfortable calling on to cover for me in the event of an emergency. They would provide identical coverage and service to what you were guaranteed in your contract, and if there were any price discrepancies we would bear that cost myself. Bottom line is, we will never, ever leave any of our clients stranded without a photographer.

This is entirely up to you! Some people book us a year in advance and some people book us the week of. All we ask is that you book us with enough time to schedule a free creative consultation, so we can ensure that all of your needs will be met on the date of your session.

Our sessions are designed to be à la carte, to allow clients the ability to customize as they wish. For this reason, we have a variety of custom options available to you.
If you think you’ll only need one (1) hour, then we recommend our Standard Session. This is typically for graduation, portrait, beauty, engagement, small families, etc. Additional hours are available for an additional fee.
If you think you’ll need four (4) hours of our time, we recommend our Half-Day Session. This is typically for larges families, new business owners, large groups, events, etc. Additional hours are available for an additional fee.
If you think you’ll need eight (8) hours of our time, we recommend our Full-Day Session. This is typically for established brands, events, etc. Additional hours are available for an additional fee.
If you are a model, small business owner, influencer, etc., we recommend our X Subscription Packages (3, 6, or 12-month terms) to help you produce consistent content for your clients.

It’s super easy to download your images! When your images are ready for review, you will receive an email with a link to your password-protected online gallery. To download an image, simply click on the download button at the top right of your window. A new window should appear with your image. At which point, you can save the image to your desktop or phone. Note: Proof images are unedited, watermarked, and are not allowed to be downloaded or use without purchase.

Of course! We completely understand that the main way people like to share their images these days is online. We only ask that anywhere that you share our images that you would tag us or our website to provide credit for the artwork that we’ve created. We also ask that if you are uploading to a service like Instagram that you would not apply filters over the carefully crafted edits we have provided for you.

We shoot and edit every session in RAW to ensure the maximum amount of exposure and color information is available for our editing. However, we deliver edited and finished high-resolution JPEG files, and do not include RAW files with our packages. If you are extremely interested in having the RAW files these are available with an additional fee and agreement.
